Dr. Robert Watson

Brookhaven Animal Hospital is owned by Drs. Bob and Dianne Watson. They were married in 1996 and both practiced veterinary medicine in the Mississippi Delta until they opened Brookhaven Animal Hospital in 1998.

Originally from the Delta, Dr. Bob graduated from Cleveland High School and Delta State University before graduating from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. He was selected as Mississippi’s Young Veterinarian of the Year in 2004. Dr. Bob served as Vice-President of the Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association in 2009 and as President of the MVMA in 2010.

Dr. Bob and his wife Dr. Dianne attend Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where Dr. Bob serves as a deacon. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors.
